Every two weeks, Diesel Truck Driver Training School hosts a free CDL training class. This is an introductory class that gives you the basics of driving a truck and serves as a useful entry point if you aren’t sure this is what you want to do.
One of the benefits of taking the free CDL class is you immediately become eligible for a $200 scholarship to the full training course.
Our next class is in La Crosse, Wisconsin on Thursday, September 19, 2013. If you are planning to sit for your CDL written test and you want to make sure you pass it, then we strongly encourage the free CDL training class. You don’t have to take the full behind-the-wheel training to pass the written test.
After you pass your written exam and you’re ready to kick off your truck driving career, then you can enroll in the full training class for budding truck drivers. In other words, we provide you a stepping stone to make your career entry smoother and more rewarding.
We start the free CDL class every two weeks. It’s not a long class, but it does prepare you for the written exam that you must pass to obtain your CDL license.
Here’s a tip. Take the free CDL class, take your test, and get your driving permit. Then, search for an employer who will send you to truck driving school for the complete training. If you find a good one, you’ll likely have to commit to staying employed with that company for a period of time. It’s a small price to pay for free career training.
