From Loading Dock To Truck Driver In As Little As Two Weeks
There are thousands of people working on loading docks around the country, yet if you talk to many of them, rather than loading trucks, they’d love to be behind the wheel driving one. Loading dock workers actually make great truck drivers. They already have the loading dock routine down pat and they know the paperwork involved with transporting goods – all they need is the truck driver training and an opportunity to prove their worth.
That opportunity exists. At Diesel Truck Driver Training School, you have a number of options when it comes to truck driver training. You can choose between:
- Free CDL Permit Training – you will still need to complete practical truck driver training
- CDL Online Training – you will still need to complete practical truck driver training
- Basic CDL Training – two week full time (or five weekend) training program that includes in-class and behind-the-wheel training
- Complete Class A CDL Training – advanced truck driver training program that includes CDL permit and DOT physical
Once you have completed your training and obtained your commercial drivers license, we don’t just wave you goodbye. We work with you to find that first job where you can put into practice the skills you have learned. In fact, we don’t wait for you to gain that CDL to start looking for work. We sit down with you from day one to work out who you are, what type of truck driving best suits you, and which employers are best suited. We also take you through all the soft skills required to win that job interview to get that job – skills which, together with truck driving, will help you for the rest of your career.
If you’re in a loading dock and you dream of getting behind the wheel of one those trucks, you can, and it only takes two weeks.
