The truck driver training course will provide the basic training for students to obtain a Class A Commercial Drivers License and entry level employment in the
trucking industry. Students attending the two week CDL Program must obtain a CDL Permit and DOT Physical prior to starting class! Students will receive all the training and the driving
tests needed to obtain a CDL. The course consists of classroom training as well as “hands on” training on the road and in the yard including pre-trip inspections, coupling and uncoupling,
and backing maneuvers.

The objective of this truck driving training course is to provide the basic CDL commercial driver driving skills and education for students to obtain the following:
- Class -A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for Entry level employment in the trucking industry
Classes run:
- Full time Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm
- Part time Saturday and Sunday 6:00am to 4:00pm

Graduates from the Diesel Truck Driver Training School will receive all the licensing permits, endorsements, and driving test needed to obtain a (CDL.) The course
consists of classroom instruction in subjects such as Department of Transportation rules, safety and safe operation of equipment.
"Hands-on" instruction on the equipment includes backing and other close quarter maneuvers as well as pre-trip inspection, coupling and
uncoupling and actual highway and city driving.
